FIIs net buy Rs 6.71bn, DIIs net sell Rs 8.02 bn

(FIIs) were net buyers in the equity segment worth Rs 6,711.2 million on both the BSE and the NSE on October 05, as per provisional data available at NSE. They bought equities worth Rs 42,433.2 million and soldequities worth Rs 35,722 million.

While, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs include banks, DFIs, Insurance and MFs) were net sellers in the equity segment worth Rs 8,029.5 million on both the BSE and the NSE on October 05, as per provisional data available at the NSE. They bought equities worth Rs 10,217.2 million and soldequities worth Rs 18,246.7 million.
